Our annual magazine fundraiser has wrapped up once again. In sports, both our boys and our girls teams are undefeated so far!! Way to go Panthers!!! Our next volleyball games for both teams are next week on Tuesday Nov. 1st. Our volleyball intramural will begin soon, as our soccer and football intramurals are done. The canteen is running again every Tuesday, and some new items have been added. Pre-order forms are in all classrooms. Provincial cross country 10/06/2011

Our last cross country meet is on October 4th at the Republic Park in Portage at 1:00pm. All of the runners are doing an amazing job and we know that they will continue to make Oakville School proud. Cross Country 09/21/2011

The elections were held today and the staff had all the votes counted by first recess. The president is Mackenzie Miller. The vice president is Riley Miller. The secretary is Cora Hildebrandt and Leah Dickenson. The girls sports reps. are Lauren Blight and Emily Upgang. The boys sports reps are Braden Frank and Tyson Dyck. The social convenors are Cali Sproule and Cassie Hannah. The grade 8 rep. is a very proud Tyson Wieler. The grade 7 rep is Lauren Prince. The grade 6 rep. is Jane Unruh. A very big congratulations to the new student council members, but also a very big thanks to all the students who participated in the election. |
